Operational Programme Environment

 

Operational Programme Environment is focused on improving the quality of the environment and with this the health of citizens. In detail this focuses on lowering emissions, improving water courses including fields, solving waste problems and industrial clean-up, supporting regional aesthetic improvements, energy efficient improvements including new heating sources and renewable energy and infrastructure upgrades with environmental benefits.
Operational Programme Environment is open to municipalities and towns, public administration and self-government bodies, research and scientific institutes, legal entities, private citizens and non-profit organizations.
The responsible organ for Operational Programme Environment is the Czech Ministry of the Environment. The Czech State Environmental Fund acts as the intermediary organ.
The Programme is divided into 8 Priority Axes:

• Priority Axis 1: The Improvement of Water Management Infrastructure and Reduction of Flood Risks
• Priority Axis 2: The Improvement of Air Quality and Reduction of Emissions
• Priority Axis 3: The Sustainable use of Energy Sources
• Priority Axis 4: Waste Management and Improvement of Old Ecological burdens
• Priority Axis 5: Limiting Industrial Pollution and Environmental Risks
• Priority Axis 6: Improving the State of Nature and the Landscape
• Priority Axis 7: Development of Infrastructure for Environmental Education, Training and Awareness
• Priority Axis 8: Technical Support
